I don't think there are any more effects in the Ride the Lightning album. There's a few overdubbed riffs and licks that you can achieve by getting a good harmonizising effect. I don't think there's any other effects besides wah.

They used Roland JC120 Jazz Chorus amps for most of their clean tones, so it's probably chorus you're hearing. Is there a particular song you hear it on?

im mostly hearing it on "fade to black" and "escape" they both seem to have it.they also happen to represent my favorite tone.
speaking of which I have decided to purchase a chorus pedal
i have my eye on either the boss stereo chorus or the electroharmonix smallstone chorus ,presently i am leaning toward the small clone becuase of its apperently warm anolog sound however if anyone has any suggestions im willing to listen.

In Fade to Black they probably use the chorus on the clean tones. I don't hear it too much so it's probably a small amount. On Escape it's seems as if more chorus is put on with delay at the end of the main solo.
