Building a guitar head/cab

Hey, anyone who has experience with building cabs/heads....

Would it be possible to build a guitar cab with 2 speakers wired for the clean channel and 2 seperate speakers wired for the overdrive channel? I would like to build a 4x10 or 4x12 cab and guitar head and have this capability without having to use two seperate amps or amp switchers or anything.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
