Converting to mp3
im trying to convert .wav`s to mp3s but it wont let me do it with audacity and the program that will do it on my computer i dont have a validation code for it so im guessing id have to buy the software so how would i convert it to mp3?

or burn the the wav file to a CD and use a ripping program like RealOne or iTunes to do the conversion for you.

There are plenty of free converters to be found. Try searching through some of these and see what you can come up with. Look Here

I was using dB power amp, aparently I only had a 30 day free trail, because it used to work, now it tells me that my trial has expired... so, yeah, you have to pay for it now...
but the thing that you suggested PRSplaya, I downloaded it, it took like a minute, and converted it, it took like 30 seconds... now I'm going to go post my new song in the listening post. so, the software you recommended is just what I needed. thanks!
