you can get a guitar for for shredding but there is only so much we can help you with because it all depends on the player. if you can handle thicker necks then it's better to buy them and if not you can get the thinner necks but if your are shredding it cant be to thin either because shredding is an art and if you f*** it up by using a neck too thin for you then you might as well quit. :eek: if you want a neck with jumbo fretts and really thin anyway then you may want to try a steinburg guitar. they are usually within your asking price. They are smooth and thin but they are all headless guitars so you may not want them but they are pretty good for shredding.
