when Im picking one string (i.e. 5) and go for the next one (4) I use the palm of my hand muting the 5. Now when Im going up (from 1 -> 2) I use my middle finger mutin the string I just picked, I mute the first string because my pull offs are not very good. dont know if its right cause sometimes harmonics come out.

Im still working on it but here´s what I do for legato:
