Firstly, thanks to -Zreynoldsp, Aschelman, and Schmange for pointing me in the right direction.
I moved my Amp to the opposite side of my room !0 feet from the Computer
Providing I play 6 feet from the Amp and 6 feet from the computer i can record the distortion channel and effects pedals with no hum ( my mate operated the mouse ) -Much pleased - Gray
