How do I pick faster and mix up the minor penatonic scales to form a solo?

I have been trying very hard to improve my ability in picking faster up the minor penatonic scales. So far, unsuccesful. I also need to improve my mixing of the scales to create a very decent, not-so-shabby solo. I've memorized the five minor penatonic scales, and now I need to mix them up and speed up to create a beautiful solo. PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm new to the forum so I don't know anyone here, but if you know how to alternate pick that helps, or fretting hand hammerons to help clean up the speed a little.
If you practice clean and slow and then add speed then you'll get the speed before you know it.
As far as mixing things up make sure and record yourself with the chord progs you want to work with and have at it. IF you can go ahead and record your solos too and compare. I've recorded my stuff for years and listen to the recordings over and over and over listening for spots to try different licks, what fits and what doesn't.
But practice. Can't substitute time at the strings.
