Nearly an hour drive one way to the guy's house. But it was worth it all the way. Guy's cool as hell and down to earth as it gets. All we really need right now is a drummer and the both of us can swap bass and vocal duties for the time. Over all it was a success, we enjoyed each other, meshed well, wrote some material and ate some taco bell. Worth every mile.

Thats awesome! All of my attempts to hook up with people usually fail. Can we look foward to seeing you post your material on this site?

Thanks for the good words and when we get things more stable and solid I'd find it probable that things would make their way to the net. Sooner or later anyway, but right now we're working together sparingly since it's just us 2 guitarist/bassists and no drummer. We've been putting word out where we can and I talked to a drummer today at work, so we'll see how it pans out. If worst comes to worst, we'll just use my drum machine.

drum machines can be alot of help the founding member of necrophagist wrote and recorded everything on his own using a drum machine and power tab editor. and did the bass, vocal and guitar duties himself from his demos to the first album "onset..." that was when willowtip records found him. the only problem is getting the right sound out of the drum machine, but it shouldnt be too hard ,good luck

Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Never let up on the 'business means business' philosophy and you'll do great.
Rehearsal means just what it says and more... .. show up on time, play extraoridinarilly well and get on with the other members of the band.
You have to live with these guys for months on the road, so not only must the other members play well and have amazing instincts.... they have to be able to interact with you and your family for a long basis of time.
