THE C SCALE CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING IN THE CORRECT ORDER

WHEN IT REPEATS IT SELF IT BECOMES

u must b wondering yi have placed spacing larger in some n smaller in other???

u people know that frequency is the number of oscillations per unit time........

now pitch is directly related to frequency

so more oscillations per second will produce higher freq notes n hence with higher pitch

interval is the distance between two notes

like u can c between C n D there is a distance

one octave is the distance between one C n the next C ie one complete cycle if
i can say so

so one octave consists of 12 semitones

2semitones consists of one whole tone

(understanding something???)me yes ;)

between C n D there r 2 semitones
between D n E there r 2 semitones
between E n F there is 1 semitone
between F n G there r 2 semitones
between D n A there r 2 semitones
between A n B there r 2 semitones
between B n C there is 1 semitone

ok lets add up 2+2+1+2+2+2+1=12 semitones :)

C= Do=Sa
D= Re=Re
E=Mi=Ga
F=Fa=Ma
G=Sol=Pa
A=La=Dha
B=Si=Ni

if u increase C by one semitone u will get C# (C sharp)
if u decrease C by one semitone su will get Cb (C flat)

ok if u have some logic u will realise that if u increase C by one semitone n
decrease D by one semitone then u will reach same point........

yeah u r 100% right

C# = Db

the u must b wondering that for the one semitones diatance separated notes what will happen??


its simple u can say that B= Cb
E# =F
Fb = E

Db Eb (Fb) (E#) F# Ab Bb (Cb)

ok to get a chord
let say eg chord C major
we take 1,3perfect,5
for C minor we use 1, b3,5


ok let consider the C major case

we refer to our "famous line of tones"


now since its C major u consider C as number one
(ie u had to find D major u would consider D as number one)

ok If C is one E will b 3 G will b 5

hence C major = C E G

now how to find the chord postion on our fret board

we use the fretboard diagram i have posted above
