Hiya, chords are combinations of notes, played at the same time, they obey mathematical laws.
Chords can be worked out from the natural scale : Do ray me far so la ti Do
There is a formula for finding the natural scale - I cannot send attachments to explain.
A good chord book will show where to put your fingers to make many chords.
