pick up covers
ive noticed that a lot of the more expensive guitars have pickup covers on them. do the covers make the sound better? or do they just make them look better?

It has been debated that the covers make differences. I think somewhere on the Seymour Duncan website, they say that the covers make no difference. Personally I think guitars that I play that have covers on them are muddier sounding than no covers. I also think no covers look better.

it probably doesn't make a difference...but it seems like ones with covers have a warmer sound...maybe that's just my own mind and not the actual sound...but yeah.
