Hi, I'm new to guitartricks, nice to meet you all.

I wasn't sure where to post this thread, so I hope this is the right place.
Ok, I have a BOSS ME-5 Effects rack. I'm just trying to get that type of sound Hendrix gets while playing Hey Joe, or close to it anyways. If anybody knows the gain, compressor, od/distortion, equalizer, chrous/flanger, or digital reverb settings I should use to get that sound, that would help out a lot.

Chances are he's using his single coil strat into a Marshall with the clean channel cranked up.. Sorry, no effects are going to help. Gotta learn to get real overdrive...Cranking up the tubes.

You might could get close by using one of the overdrive models in the pedal, but that would be it. No other effects needed, just good clean touch sensitive(dynamic) overdrive.

Alright, thanks, I'll try to mess around with the distortion tones.
