The fact is... no one ever NEEDS 7 strings... What you need is an Ibanez, ESP, or Jackson. Those are the brands that generally offer Floyds as a Standard bridge type. Ibanez has a Wizard II neck profile on a lot of their guitars. It's a super fast style of neck. Neck through bodies generally have finished necks... this, in my opinion, can hinder speed. Unless you do what Zakk Wylde did to his Bullseye LP and have a tech sand off the finish on the neck then apply some oil to keep it from warping. The Ibanez prestige models are great axes... and they do have a neck through, Floyd-equipped, Wizard II Prestige neck, with a solid unfinished mapel neck. That's what I suggest. BUT... if you feel like you absolutly NEED 7 strings... I don't know why you need 7 strings... but if you do, just look around at some sites. Do your own research! www.musiciansfriend.com
