Inserting pictures

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to insert a picture into a post.

ie: when it says enter text to be formatted to I enter the destinion on my computer (C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Pictures etc).

When it says "enter text to be formatted" it must be a web adress. You'll have to use an image already uploaded onto the net, you can't upload from your hardrive to the board.

" code and provide the address to where the image is stored on the net.

Or use the "manage attachments" option to upload an image and a link will be added with your post. (good for pics that are too large to go in the forum)

Double check & make sure they allow external links.
Some places allow you to store pics but when you try to directly link to them all you get is a generic icon telling you where the pic is hosted.

photobucket.com even has all the codes fo posting in forums and such right below the pic :D
