Not to bicker because he certainly does have a lot of acoustic material, but when I saw Ben Harper a few years back, he had him some MONSTEROUS guitar tone.
yeah he does have that to! his albums are like compalations in someways cos there are so many styles. i know what ya mean with it making ya want to mosh, when ever any of his "harder" songs come on when im drivin it makes me want to go about 100x faster.
I wanted to mosh to "Please Bleed," but I was afraid some hippy would beat me to death with his rasta hat
haha i doubt any of the "hippies" (students really) when i went to see him would have been able to beat anyone to death, just a little bit too stoned to do anythin like that! most amount of weed i ever saw was at that concert! it seemed like everyone was smokin it. especially when "Burn one down" came on, the rastafarian bongo player took a spliff from the crowd and was smokin it doin his solo was sooo good!
