Learn some classical style songs... "fur elise" is a good one to start out with. It's fun to play around with stuff like that. I recently learned "Blackbird" as well (my girlfriend loves the Beatles). If you want to challenge yourself and get better at finger picking... I suggest trying to tackle "Classical Gas". It's a technical repitiore of finger picking techniques coupled with a lot of fret-hand techniques. You most likely won't be able to learn it right away,since you're looking for some easier songs, but break it up into sections and learn a section at a time. It may take a few weeks, months, maybe a year... but when you put it all together it will sound amazing.
