Chords?????
Im trying to learn some songs for a church mission trip to mexico coming up on myacoustic guitar. I know most of my chords but am unsure how to put them together into the song. the chords are just right above the song lyrics on the sheet but i do not know how to play the song. Please help, i have 25 days to learn!

ok right, for that type of thing you are going to have to know the song pretty well, the chord changes are indicated above the lyrics as the chord changes, but no melody or timing is shown...so you are gonna have to listen to the songs hey.

ya, pretty much you need to know what the song is supposed to sound like. Maybe download if you can or talk to someone who can, or even someone in your church might have the songs on a CD.
When you are singing, the chord name above the words indicates where you play a different chord, but you need to know what the song sounds like in order to figure out the strumming pattern and how to play the song pretty much.

A trip to Mexico on yer guitar? That's heresy! (Sorry I couldn't resist being a smartass.)
But yep, I pretty much gotta have some kinda audio to learn a song or at least know how it goes really well.
