I need a little help

I decided to buy a guitar (acoustic) and i'v been practicing but i tend to touch other strings with my finger. Is there any trick to help correct that? :confused:

Not really... Just practice things slowly until you can play it at the intended speed. Work on your technique and make a concious effort to try to correct the problem yourself... if you don't, your style will develop into a pretty sloppy one. So just practice things and try to be accurate. It may just be becuase your fingers don't have the dexterity that they need to play guitar at a good clip yet. It will work out, I promise... just stick with it.

Try to keep your fingers at a 90 degree angle from the strings and always use the tip of ur fingers.
We've been dancin' with Mr. Brownstone...

i had that problem too and ive onlyt been playing for a week. Ive gotten used to it already just through practicing. All you can do is get used to it, the'res not other way really. I'm not exactly good at the moment, but i've gradually started to play without touching the other strings(much...)
