What's the best way to clean a rosewood fretboard with strings on it ?

I like "Old English" scratch cover for light wood and a lint-free cloth.

I use Fast Fret, and its rele good, it makes your fretboard look rele good, and it prolongs the life of your strings, removing all the dirt and oils that collect on them, especially the underside of them.

I've used Martin Guitar polish ever since I started. I've heard that lemon oil can be bad. It can work its way under the finish (on the body) and lift it causing the wood to become saturated. I'd only use it on a fretboard if it seems dry. Naptha (lighter fluid) is a pretty common alternative for a cleaner. It might leave a slight haze, but you can polish it off.
