I assume that you are having problems with tapping...
have a look at the excersizes on this web page...many useful things fan...just keep at it tho...
maybe even practise playing leggato at a very slow tempo, making sure that everything is clean and that only your intendedn note sounds (no scratches from other strings etc.)

Thunderstruck is pure neck tapping (hammer-ons and pull-offs), but done entirely with the left hand. Try using your index finger only on the B string. There are "pull-offs" between each note (ringing the open B). Slow down to nail it. Play with the music. It's pretty easy to think it is being played faster than it actually is. However, with a little practice, you can knock out some really fast *&$% this way.
Let's call pull-off "PO" - Hammer -on "HO"- on the B string
HO 4th fret, PO, HO 7th, repeat 8 times
HO 5, PO, HO 8, repeat 8T
