I went for lessons, then I studied music and guitar through The Guitar School, now that I am in London, I no-longer go for lessons, but will resume when I get back home next year...

I think personal lessons help me alot...I am a big fan of jamming with other musicians as well...I dont think internet and video lessons will ever surpass private lessons...although they are definately good too.
