Vai Instrumental

i just downloaded a really awesome Steve Vai instrumental. I think it's one of his best. But i don't know the name of it.. I really want to learn it though.. It's too big of a file for me to send it to anybody.. cuz it's a .mpeg.....

But it starts out quiet, kind of a blues type of music... then he has this really awesome solo where he taps a lot, and does a whole bunch of scales and he does harmonics, and then he slows down and plays with a wah-wah effect... and he makes it sound like a duck or something... it's 5 minutes long.

I can't really explain it to you in words :confused: . but i did my best...

Does this description ring a bell to anybody though?

Considering the majority of Steve Vai's stuff are really awesome instrumental with a lot of tapping, effects, and harmonics as well as way too many other licks and tricks... no it really doesn't help, but you tried right? That's all that counts.

hmmm... well i can screen-capture the video. but i don't know what good that will do.. haha

I know the song just from your description. It's called 'Tender Surrender', without a doubt. Hope that helps.

Dude, the end part was a soliloquy, did you not read the stage notes? It clearly stated that you were not listnening...only the audience could here me...so as far as you are concerned, you have good hair and all, and I never knew it was Tender Surrender!

I never said anything about seeing any side notes. I just took actions for my own personal pleasure. But since you just admitted there were side notes that implies you're going behind my back.
