i'm thinking an electric guitar, but with acoustic box (don't know if you say it like that here)... I mean, not electroacustic, all big, but like the gibson lespaul, or hawk
so that i can play unplugged and sounds allright
I want it to be heavy, having a lot of body, good balance
and nice to play, you know, flat neck, not thick.. not massive, cause i have small hands and it suits best.
and the strings not so far appart from the fretboard

I like the vintage look of the lespaul, and i love the f clefs on the side

any guitar like that?? as i said i was thinking the hawk or the lespaul, but haven't proven them yet
comment please

Im pretty sure your talking about semi-hollow bodies, but the Gibson Les Paul doesnt fall into that catagory. If this is your first electric, unless you can find a nice used one, I dont think you should think Gibson. They are wicked expensive. Gibson bought Epiphone and turned it into thier lower priced instrument brand, so you should definatley check them out. But just go onto a music site and look for SEMI-HOLLOW BODY guitars. This is the site i always use, and i can tell you they ship very quickly and they are very reputable.

It sounds like you may want to look at an Epiphone dot, which is the epiphone es335, or any semi-hollow epiphone.

I actually have seen a semi-hollow Les Paul before, it was an Epi na d I know it was a regular production model, but I havent seen one around for a long time.
With semi-hollow electric guitars, you can make some noise with no amp, but the guitar is built for use with an amp.

Also look into the Ibanez artcore series...they are awesome guitars and are very affordable.

no...not my first guitar, in fact, about my 5th
that's why i'm so picky about it... i want it to be perfect

so i looked around, i didn't know the term "semi-hollow" seems it was just what i was looking for.. thnx burnout!
but.. .looking around, liked these guitars:

Ibanez Artcore AG75
Ibanez Artcore AG85
Ibanez Artcore AM73T

I was looking the Epiphone dot series but.. they seem too big, hard to handle and rather ugly...

the ones I think i loved the most, were the
Ibanez AK85 Semi-Hollowbody, it's beautiful...
and the ESP PS-2V
anyone can comment on those guitar?????

By far... the one that i just loved... was the
ESP PS-2 of the Xtones series... any one has played it????

I want to remark that i loved so much, because it has a smaller body than the ibanez and the epiphones... it seems really handleable (??!!)

please. comment on that guitar

Cant comment on the esp, but I can vouch for the Ibanez range, any artcore! They are all superb guitars...in many ways nicer than expensive Gibson semi-hollows...and of course less expensive!

You should also look at the VINTAGE brand if you can find them. Inexspensive and they are made to all the specs of vintage guitars. Best alternative if money is tight.
