Because no one will buy an epiphone for 900 dollars. If you're looking for a sweet SG check out the SG-400 Custom by EPIPHONE. Ebay reflects supply and demand perfectly... People will pay what they want to pay and if they don't want or need the product... then it won't sell for what it's worth. Guitars that are very abundant (Mexican Strats, Strat Copies, Epiphone models, etc...) go for really cheap. So if you're a beginner looking for a guitar for cheap... check it out. Sometimes you can get your dream guitar for pretty cheap
