Paul, my rhythm guitarist, is setting up some shows this summer for my band! I think we're probably gonna be opening for some local ska or pop-punk bands, but meh, such is life.
Anyhow, the reason I'm really stoked is we're opening with a metalled-out version of the duet from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera." 'Twill be nuts.
Me=stoked

You can have a lot of fun with that song. We mess around with it a little in my band...good stuff!

I just think the melody is so catchy. IN SLEEP HE CAME TO ME!!! It really gets stuck in your head.

You gotta make sure the drummer plays the right rythem. Its really easy, but it just makes the song.

Be sure to let me know when and where you guys are gigging, I'd love to check your band out. But don't worry, I'm a newbie guitarist so I won't be pushing you to let me jam with you! :)
What's the band's name and what style(s) of music do you guys usually play?

www.purevolume.com/bobtotherescue That's our site, I'm afraid the recordings aren't that great, but it basically sums us up. We're kind of a parody band but we sometimes take ourselves seriously.

That's some good stuff man - and the band's bio is hillarious. Nice to see you guys are having fun. :cool:
I'll keep an eye on the schedule page to catch one of your gigs. That way I can tell everyone "Yeah, but I knew 'em before they were selling out at Scope!" :D
