Wouldn't that suck? Well, the point being, what would your next choice instrument be if there wasn't a guitar to take up? I would most likely reach for anything else with strings. Probably a piano first though, but if it's got strings I'm a fan. Mandolin would be up there (considering if I didn't have my guitars I'd finally play mine).
