Tapping anyone?
I know how to tap, and i keep practicing and have improved but id, it sounds off, like one note is struck louder then the other and idk, my pull offs are weak and make it seem that way i think, and besides it doesnt flow together it seems like just a lot of notes played fast. its spossed to flow right? Eventuall will i get it? or am i doing something wrong? I love hearing people tapping and i rele wanna get rele good at it. Any advice besides keep practicing?

1) Slow down .... this will enable you to work on your dynamics, you can always speed up later once you have the dynamics sorted out
2) look at the lessons by Schmange, they are very cool and totally taptastic !!

Nevermind, I had been using my index finger on my right hand to tap and i found that it sounds alot better for me to tap with my middle finger. But another question, I didnt wanna have to make a whole new thread, decending tapping? I think it just may be impossible, with no video to go by i cant imagine how to do it. Please help!

I think just slowing it down and working your way up will fix any problems with time...you say you have had some improvement...so thats good, I know you said not to say it, but apart from Dr Simons advice..."keep at it" is the only advice I can give.

within the physics of the universe, nothing is impossible. Oh and just get out a metronome use only your left hand and trill between two notes, then do it between a tapping finger and another left hand note.
Alas for I am Jay! Reviver of very, very old threads!
