Thinking about getting the Vox AD30VT Valvetronix 30W Guitar Amp, does anyone have any opinions or info on this amp? I will use it for playing in my churches worship band. I also play very heavy Christian music as well as blues and jazz. Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Howard

You could read past posts on this amp but i just bought the 15 watt version. I found it to surpass any amp of that price range and even more. For $150-500 range i think its one of the top. Its a tube sound so you get a nice clean tone. The amp models are pretty good on there and the effects are pretty good even though i rather use my own effects. Overall i would really recommend getting this amp but then again at the same time i would suggest playing a few other amps to see if this fits what you want to do.

I dont really like the digital Vox thing...I think it sounds a bit Muddy, I am not sure why, and I know most people dont agree, but I think the single preamp tube actually makes the sound less clear than most other digital modellers...not sure why...
If I were you I would take a good look at the Line6 Spider2 range.
