It depends. If it just sounds bad then don't do it. Flamenco guitars have really low action, they buzz a lot. But flamenco players, although they are good, don't care much for perfect technique or tone hehe, its all about the music itself. A classical profeessor on the other hand, would cringe at the thought of buzzing and bad technique. So just do what you like.
