If you're into lead guitar check this out and let me know what you think.

It's not finished yet, just the intro and outro to a project I'm working on, same sol at the beginning and end. I'm working on a big neo-classical solo break for the middle and will polish up everything else while rerecording.

Feedback would be cool!

Thanks in advance

Good job! While it's fast, the lead has melody that ties it in to the song, not just some wankering riffs. Like you said, some polishing is due...but yer headed in the right direction.

your talented dude and its good, but not so much my taste, but the drums sound bad to me. and I have only one thing to say and this is just me but alot of the time it seems like people like yingwe use their neck pickup to much cus it covers up sloppiness- like hammett and the wah pedal, not saying your sloppy but when people use the neck pickup alot for fast stuff it gives me that impression
Alas for I am Jay! Reviver of very, very old threads!

Cayotic, I agree about the drums, they are horrible but did the trick for keeping time while doing the recording. I'll be changing them as soon as I get the middle part organised.
Re neck pickups, I don't agree that they make you sound less sloppy, I just like the sound. A lot of guitarists use them for their lead parts such as Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Vinnie Moore etc. I find the sound much warmer and fuller than from the bridge. For me the bridge works better for crunchy rhythm parts and more trebly clean parts. It all comes down to personal taste.
Thanks for the comments;-)
