I'd thread the string through the saddle until the ball end clicked into the saddle. Then I wrapped the string around the tuning posts twice before I started to tighten it with the tuning pegs. However, as I tighten it more I was unable to lock the string into it's correct positioning (not sure what they're called but at the end near the tuning posts theres this black thing with marks in it that the strings go into so they're in it's correct position.) The string either popped from the saddle being broken, although I didn't hear it pop or the string was really loose. The string made this huge arch at the end and as you tightened it more it would get bigger. I hope I explained that well enough haha. I was a bit confused myself.
