I mean, anyone with a brain is going to saay that it is an apples and oranges comparison, or that there is no use in comparing the two. There is a guy I play with at church. Now, I can speed around him till the cows come home, I know tons more scales and modes and my music theory knowledge way surpasses anything he knows. BUT, he strums better; has a better feel for rhythmic playing. Well, who's the better guitarist? Me, because I have a bunch of chops, or him, because his chops are more useful.
