I just bought myself the 15 watt version since i will be using it primarily in a small room and with headphones but i loved the sound. I went shopping for amps and i ended up getting this one. In my opinion its a great amp in that price range. I'm not sure what u need it for but 120 would be really loud, my 15 alone is loud. But i suggest going and trying it out and seeing if it fits you but i'd approve.

i've got one and really like it. i bought it because i couldnt afford an ac30 and it's just as good (IMHO)!!
i use mine with my own pedals run through it, but when i'm practising i just use it with its own effects which are great.

you can also change the wattage at the back if you were worried about how loud it is.

it really does depend what you were looking for though... so go try some out! :D

hope that's of some help... if not, stick up some questions and i'll see if i can answer them... although 17th century kings and queens isnt my strongest subject.

How do you find the effects on the amp its self. to play and mess with would you say they are good enough. how would you rate them

I find the effects actually top notch. Not to be compared to an $80+ pedal but hey for being a combo they are much nicer sounding than any other combo effects. Most people hate distortions on amps but i got some nice sounds, a nice randy rhoads sound out of it. I think i didnt like one of the amp modeling settings and that was about it but after tweaking you really don't need pedals. I would recommend using them anyhow but in this case you can do well without. I would rate them 8.75

i quite like the effects on the amp. as i said, i usually use my own pedals with it, but i have played live with my own sound programmed on it and it sounded just as good!
if you mess around with the various dials you'll usually get something you like...

so yeah, they are pretty decent effects. the only thing i found a bit annoying was not being able to switch between them easily live, but that's only because i havn't bought the pedal that goes with it (as i use my own). but if you programmed all your settings into the memory i'm sure it would be fine :D .
