Hello all,

I went to practice playing today and turned on the drive on my Frontman 25R and...nothing. I messed with the gain and drive dials to no avail. I get no distortion whatsoever. The last time I played it, it was fine. The reverb and other features are in working order. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,

Greg :)

Can you get any sound out of it at all (i.e. clean channel) ?
When you flip the power on do an lights come on ?
Have you checked simple things like fuses ?
My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I can get clean sounds with the drive on or off (i.e., master volume), just no distortion. Everything else seems to work except for that one thing. No have I not checked any fuses, but I figured since everything else seems to be functioning properly they would be fine....and I'm Bush League when it comes to tinkering with amps and the such. Maybe it's time to get my hands dirty. If you have any other input, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!
