Lets be honest here, Kirk is the most talented between the two, I don't think people can name 5 iconic Riffs or solos from slash but Kirk on the other hands geez. GNR only have 1 great album and Metallica has 4-5 great albums. Both bands pretty much came up in the ranks together in the 80s. Slash is good but not good enough to be compared to Kirk Hammett. Kirk Hammett is the better overall guitarist. This not an opinion, it's a fact.
