Hey guys im new to guitar(i dont even have am amp yet, im playing my electric acustic style) and i was just wondering what kind of amp i should get?? i just need something to play at home im not doing any shows or anything like that. Thanks

How about this little guy? , these small amps are perfect for practicing, they are small and also have headphone jacks so you can play loud and not disturb anyone. You need an adapter to use headphones though, that can be bought at radioshack. If you need something cheaper just search that site.

I believe in getting advice in these forums but never take it too far. Gather what you learn from these forums and go out there and play every amp in the store if you have to. Never let someone sell you something that you don't truly want. For beginner amps nothing can really go wrong. Its all about the sound you want. I would maybe suggest checking out the MG30DFX combo, Vox Valvetronix Series, Fender Dyna Touch III series and the Behringer V-tone series.
