Yeah, you'd get in trouble for being a hippie. The Dean of Students would come by your dorm and yell "HEY! WHO'S THE HIPPIE WITH THE CLOTHESLINE!?" And then you'd have to come out and explain that you had the clothesline, to which he would respond "NICE CLOTHESLINE, HIPPIE!" And then everyone would laugh at you and you'd be very embarassed.
