more people own, or want to own a martin than any other acoustic guitar in the world.
i prefer an acoustic, with alot of low end, a really full sound, so for me martin was the choice, taylors are great, but they(most anyway) have a real high "tingy" sound, expecially the maples. larravie make some incredible guitars, and since you did mention martin and taylor i am guessing that you have a good bit of money so also lowden is another great but expensive maker.
and to ac, way to go man "they suck, buy an electric" that is awesome, with that kind of an open mind about instruments and music you will go far, i bet even the guys from ac/dc would make fun of you for that one....idiot!
