reverb and delay don't work very well in front of an amp if you use them for the dirty channel and the clean channel of the amp. If you set it for the clean channel and then switch to the dirty channel the reverb and delay will be magnified...a lot. But, if you use pedal's to get your distortion, the they work fine in front of the amp. Just one more thing to keep in mind.
