One of my first 'real' jobs was at a pizza shop. My lunch every day was a 14" pizza with about an inch-and-a-half of toppings on it! Yumm!

Back then could eat like that and never gain an ounce. Not at all like these days. >sigh<

Here's what's currently responsible for my belly resembling a large, domed topographical feature:

A salmon steak grilled within a tin-foil cacoon with the following:, sliced portabello mushrooms, onions, red and green bell peppers and habeneros, some wine, butter and lemon juice.

On the side, I had some stuffed clams.

It's a shame I don't have a date, because that meal WOULD have scored me some serious points.

Oh god dude,I tried the garden burger! It was horrid!

The first bite was near tastless...ok,not bad,I could eat this...and then,I hit garlic and some other very bitter tasting stuff.Talk about curving my appetite.I tasted that for like a day and a half and it gave me an upset stomach!

hmmm...mabey rice cakes and peanut butter and myoplex lite diet? The only thing that concerns me with the myoplex MRP's and others is the aspartame(phenylalynine)...I need to get a membership at the gym too.

Hypertrophy lifting and a few miles on the stationary bike three times a week...By next summer I want to be in good enough shape to walk shirtless with confidence.

The sucky thing is,I have minor gyncomastia(large nipples)and the cost of cosmetic correction is nuts($3000+).I was told it was hormones when I was 12...well now i'm almost 20 and there slightly larger.I don't think insurance will cover it unless there was serious discomfort...damn

Been there. You can learn to live with it. I can tell you from personal experience that a lot of women go for that look. Especially if you're buffed. And when you reach middle age, you'll find that all men tend to look like that anyway.

That is the result of self-induced hypertrophy, unless I'm confusing it with hyperplasia, but I think thats slightly different. The idea is to shock your muscles into growth by inducing muscle failure through very heavy weights(to your own body type obviously).obviously your body must maintain an anti-catabolic state constantly so its possible to do more harm than good if you lift like that without a proper diet(protiens, amino acids,V's and M's).

gynecomastia is simply extra glandular tissue behind the nipples(in my case anyway). It certainly is hormones because they can excrete small amounts of fluid(water).

oh,yeah,i'll try a different brand(morning star)for the veggie stuff.Ive had the buffalo chicken and they tasted awsome aside from the burning...i'll look for mild."Garden burger" is an accurate description of the product though...its like they took every crop on the farm, disregarding taste and minced it into patties.
