I found a Gibson the paul at a pawn shop here in the central valley in CAlly. It is solid Walnut I put an original Gibson gold Tuneomatic on it and It alread had Kluson Machines. I put the original Dunkin design pick-up from my Jackson kv3 in the bridge position and left the original Gibson pick-up in the neck position.
This guitar has a lot of soul and alot of sustain. Very good for playin blusey stuff or tryin to get that old Zep sound. I use ten gauge stringes so that it has the bite I like.
I use elevin gauge on my Jackson (took forever to ajust the bridge springs to get it in to a four forty, but it is exelent for that serious crunch. Along w/ a Seymore Duncan George Lynch Screamin Demon Front Transducer, It F!@#$in rocks!!!!1
