I have been playing guitar for a few years now, but I still feel pretty ignorant about some of the terminology. For instance, what makes a guitar a dreadnaught? What is a Floyd Rose? When is it appropriate to use a compressor, gate, or any other misunderstood or confused FX?
Please help. I want to sound like I know what I'm talkiing about.
