You can't tell the difference? Try playing that November Rain solo and see if you can get close to sounding like Slash after a few minutes. It's just a few simple bends, but it's how he makes those bends sound that make it unique.

You can bend notes slowly, you can bend them fast, you can add vibrato before/after.

Phrasing is just like a way a guitarist speaks. I can speak notes one way, while others may speak those notes another way.
