Hey guys,

Looking for some opinions on my tunes. They are instrumental rock guitar in the vein of Satch, Vai, Petrucci, Johnson. Not looking to be the best or fastest guitar player, just want to write great songs & keep the listener interested. Please click on jeffurso.com/sounds.htm & let me know what you all think.

Thanks for checking it out! :)

Did you play all instruments ? I checked your site out a bit , and to me it looked like you play the drums as well . If that is the case , even more respect to ya .

I'm really thinking about ordering a copy .

Thanks for checking it out Blueszai. I did play drums for 14 years. However, the drums on the CD were built using software. They were built practically from scratch...... precisely placing cymbals & percussion about. I'm charging $9.99 a CD on the site. Not trying to make a million dollars, just trying to get a little back on the manufacturing and get this music out there as much as I can. I tried to go with some really cool packaging and a great layout. I think the CD should look good, as well as sound great too.

A little on the upbeat...lite side, for my personal taste, but some very nice guitar work.

Keep jammin man. ;)

What kind of signal chain you playing through?

ALL MY MUSIC SOUNDS BEST...WITH SOME GOOD PHONES, AND PLAYED REALLY LOUD!!!!!!!!!

Try POWER DVD or a real piece of software.
WMP, Realplayer, and those little things kill...recordings...muffle them..take away the stereo field.

Thanks. I did keep it on the lighter side to expand to a wider audience. I tried to come up with tunes that could cross over into a lot of different groups of people. Shredders, metal, melodic, & ballady. There should be something on there for everybody. Equipment-wise......I used a Line6 Pod Pro & a BBE Sonic Maximizer for most of the guitar tones. I like to keep it pretty simple. I'm not good at figuring out how to chain a bunch of effects & preamps together. Especially with a pedal board. MIDI gets kind of confusing to me.

Thought I heard that Pod sound in there. Sound good man.

Best of luck..

I don' use much at all either.

Strat--->Iba Tube Screamer--->RP200---Boss CS-3.

The RP I have Detune, a little Cry wah, and slap-back delay...touch
