For all you sequence and soft syth heads, this new version of Reason is fantastic, amazing sounds and flexibility, and its easy for an old guitar hack like me to use. Remember as guitar players if we can do it without drummers were better off. HA HA

I was a beta tester for the latest release, if anyone has this program and needs some help, im not the best but would be glad to give ya some advice.

Thanks for letting us know , I've been using 2.5 , and will check 3.0 out . Very easy to use in comparison to , let's say , Cubase . It really looks like you have the real hardware , with those 19" racks .

What's new in 3.0 ?

There is something called the "Combinator" which allows you to basically make your own custom rack with in Reason. Very cool concept. Then they added the "Mastering Suite" which gives you a little more control over dynamics. Its not Native Waves caliber but its a nice addition. Those are the main things, they also improved the browser, hardware integration, and a mini 6 channel mixer. If you like 2.5 you will love 3.0. No I dont work for Propellerhead ha ha.

This is cool, and I love reason, and everybody appreciates an offer for help.

But, this thread isn't really a review.

So, I plan to move it to the gear discussion section in a day or two.

I will leave it here for now, so people can see that we want to limit this new gear review forum to full reviews.
