I think it took a tremendous amount of courage to talk about your problems, I hope this is a beginning to you feeling better. Not to be a bible beater but I know years of depression, violence, and drug abuse are now behind me and taking Christ into my life has really helped me get past all of that, maybe teh church could be another avenue for your healing along with a counselor.
