Hey everybody,

Well, I thought I would ask since there are some very knowledgable folks around here- I'm interested in adding a bit of a Spanish style to my playing, so I guess I'm most curious, not so much about techniques in terms of fingerpicking or arpeggiating chords, but of playing lead parts- I believe Spanish guitar music is more modal, but I'm not sure which mode tends to be the most useful- if anyone has suggestions, it would be appreciated, of course if I'm totally out in space, call me out, all right?

I'm also curious as to common chord progressions, i.e., like the blues is usually I,IV,V, what would you folks say as far as Latin music- any help would be cool- I'm way too stuck in the blues and I need to spice it up a bit.

peace
