This is one version, actually the first part of a collaboration
between myself, and a great rythym player and good guy
named LOWENZZ.

Not really much to say, this was done in two takes, straight
on top of the rythym track LOWENZZ sent me.

There is a slightly rough transition between the two takes, as I
had changed some things in my tone settings between takes, while
I went to work on another project, and...well...it's not that big a deal.

I would like to get the sections crossfaded...or mixed/blended
together better.

Would probably take a more experienced guy 10 seconds to do it.

Anywho...

mp3 file...3.2 MB...Run time approx. 2 minutes

dude, youre driving me nuts with your mind-blowing shredding! i love your style and the tone youre getting out of that chorus and reverb mod.
When playing guitar, always play your heart out.

Thanks.

Actually though, and this is just to help you out maybe in getting a tone
you like.

I don't use any chorus at all...occasionally on rythym tracks...but that's it.

I use what's called Detune. It really fattens up your notes, great
for soloing. Also, using a Ibanez Turbo Tube Screamer, which I just
found out the other day is a rare, and highly sought pre-amp/pedal.

You can get a Tube Screamer either used, or the new re-issue.
Put it in front of that RP and it will make a huge difference.
Guitar--->Tube Screamer--->RP

You will have to turn up your noise gate quite a bit because it does
cause some static when fully cranked, the tone and sustain are well
worth it.

Also, I use a minimal amount of reverb. You can get more reverb out of
a $100 practice amp than I use. Verb gives too much outside static/air
type noise. Kills all the punch...least with the gear I have.

Now, if you are talking a Lexicon Verb...that's different.

Continuing...

I use a "Studio" Delay...which gives the tone, or almost in my case,
of the great guitar Gods of the mid 80's-early 90's. The delay gives
you spaciousness...lushness. Gets rid of that too compressed sound
you hear in today's music.

HTH....and again, appreciate the comments. ;)

Sweet! I realy like your tone. I've alway's loved the "detune" effect, but unfortunately don't have it in anything.

Keep up the great work!
