1. Chet Atkins-the classic choice
2. Brad Paisley- he's gonna be big, if you go to one of his shows you'll see and hear why
3. Vince Gill- not only a sappy balladeer, but one of the finest pickers out there
4. Steve Wariner-one of the most underrated guys in country music-everyone knows he can play, but we don't hear enough of his picking, only the ballads
5. Clint Black-great singer, but he can flat out pick-acoustic or electric
