tapping with the edge of the pick?

Im learning one by metallica and am at the main solo. Does anyone have any advice on tapping using the edge of your pick?

Keep the pick as close to the fretboard as possible, if you want an amazingly fast trill. Satch uses this technique occasionally too.

make sure you hit the string hard with the pick. The heavier the pick, the easier it is to do.

just practice doing it- it willtake time but when u get it to work it will sound good

You tap the 19, then pulloff 15 to 12.

If that makes since.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

that solo just takes experimenting and practice.
eventually, you will just be able to get it.
